Certain equipment, software, technologies, technical data or services may be subject to restrictions on:

  • transfer;
  • export;
  • brokering;
  • technical assistance;
  • end use.

Customer commitments

  • provide accurate information on the end user, destination and use;
  • comply with applicable sanctions, embargoes and restrictions;
  • obtain authorizations for which it is responsible;
  • not divert or re-export a controlled item without authorization;
  • inform RDMC of any military, dual-use, sensitive use or restricted destination.

Right of control and suspension

RDMC may request end-user documents and defer, refuse or suspend an operation when a regulatory, ethical, reputational or diversion risk is identified.

Dual-use goods

Regulation (EU) 2021/821 establishes a control regime for exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfers concerning dual-use items.

Classification depends on technical characteristics, destination, end user and declared use. A specific transactional analysis remains necessary.
